Something really quick I tried to sketch out. >_> Some sort of scene involving a totally bashed out (as usual) Kirk, with Bones and Spock standing watch to make sure they all don't get their brains eatened by some alien creature or something.

They're seriously the most awesome OT3 out there, though. <3 Missions with them usually revolve around this same pattern:

Kirk gets injured/incapacitated/has bodily harm in some way.
Spock states how irrevocably illogical whatever Kirk did was.
Bones runs around and frets over both of them like a mother hen.

I posted this on the ST2009 LJ community first, though, and that may spawn some sort of fanfic. <3 Which I'm super excited to see happen...~

And yes, the movie is still infecting my brain. And has been for a while. >D

And yes you're totally right, the missions almost, if not always, are like that. But I still love them nonetheless!

For what it's worth, about the movie infecting your brain?

I've been to see it 12 times. And as the idiots in charge haven't taken it out of theaters yet, I'll probably have that number up to at least 15 by the end.

Anyway, this picture is absolutely wonderful, and I too hope it spawns some sort of fic!!!

I think every time I see it, more brain cells die, which causes me to see it again, thus spawning a paradoxical cycle of doom. I'm strangely comfortable with this.

It's worse though, because until a month ago, I'd successfully kept my boyfriend of four years in the dark about how much of a closet Trekkie I was. Now he knows, and won't stop making fun of me. *grumbles*
